April 16th - 11 am CDT (GMT-5): 24 hours of downtime will commence while we deploy all of the changes coming in season 2. At this time, the online services will be unavailable. You will still have access to play Offline, and all of your Online progress will be preserved.

1.2 isn't live until tomorrow. You can however go into current patch offline and play during the downtime in preparation for the patch tomorrow.

Servers go down in less than 3 hrs.... they're deploying the patch today IE offline 1.2

Depends on what you prefer, but I think the servers will struggle for at least a couple of days. Hopefully, they sort it out quick for those that want to play online. I'm going offline as I've done every time I've played LE.

The servers will back up tomorrow at 11am CDT for season 2.

You're aware that we won't be able to download the patch until tomorrow 11am CDT. Nobody will play 1.2 today.

No one plays 1.2 before tomorrow. The countdown on their site is there for a reason: season 2 starts tomorrow, not before for anyone, or for any mode.
You can play offline mode today, but it's not updated yet.

Offline all the way. No trolls or toxic turds in chat, no need to worry about the servers stability on launch day, and there's a faction dedicated to SSF playstyle that gives you better odds of good loot.

No reason for Online play really, unless you want to group with your friends in LE instead of some other game.

last time I tried Full Offline, I noticed my character didn't die when hitting 0 hp.
hopefully that's fixed now? like, yeah I play softcore, but it's not much of a game if I'm immortal
