Last Epoch

Last Epoch needs to be removed ASAP from “partial Deck verification”
It’s honestly infuriating at this point. After all this time— a hole year of promises, updates, and supposed “support”—this company still hasn’t figured out how to make their game run properly on the Steam Deck. And now, trying to play it through GeForce Now on the Deck is just another layer of disappointment. You’d think by April 2025, with the Steam Deck being out for years and GeForce Now touting its shiny new native app support, they’d have this sorted out. But no, we’re still stuck with a mess of compatibility issues that make the whole experience feel like a slap in the face.
Let’s start with the Steam Deck itself. The fact that the game still demands a mouse and keyboard for basic functionality is ridiculous. This isn’t some obscure indie title—it’s a game from a company that’s had plenty of time and resources to adapt it for a handheld device with built-in controls. The Steam Deck’s controller layout is versatile, widely supported, and has been proven to work with countless other titles. Yet here we are, forced to lug around extra peripherals or fumble with touchscreen workarounds just to navigate menus or play at all. It’s like they didn’t even try to optimize it. Did they think we’d all just shrug and say, “Oh well, guess I’ll dock it and play at a desk like it’s 2015”? This is a handheld device—make it work like one!

Works perfectly fine on my Steam Deck, no tinkering required lol
To the OP, Last Epoch currently has the best Hybrid Controller controls of any ARPG out!
