well err, after 5 years the campaign is yet to be completed. the builds are really cool for the classes, really great game for just throwing your own build together. seasons... they are what, a year long? if its on sale for a decent price you might have a lot of fun with it for a few hundred hours

It has one of the best systems to allow you build interesting builds without guides. When D4 was a joke and be simple as ff.. Without any intersting synergies -
Every skill here have it's own skill-tree that changes and upgrades the skill.
you can for example make your swipe to work on werebear form - make it stronger but have CD or amplify it with lightning. You can make your wolves to leap slam with you - or change wolves into squirels on unique.
-There are much more content and viable builds than in D4.
-Campain is boring but also smooth. So it doesn't make frustration.
-It has seasons and developers already changed the developemnt to add more stuff into season. The upcoming season will be first - bigger. Also it's the second season upcoming to the game. And i think after the second season it will be much better game. For now it lacks of end game and chase items.
i recommend you GRIM DAWN

I play LASt Epoch, Diablo 4 and Poe2 currently.
Last EPoch is the best experience right now.

It has a lot of content, a lot of classes to try out.. a lot of uniques that can be build changing/defining.. The combat feels good. The different factions are both good.

You can buy stash tabs for the ingame gold, and they are cheap starting out.. so you can hoard tons of loot if you like. The loot filter and crafting are the best in the genre.

The endgame bosses are pretty well made.. some are quite hard.. especially some of the new harbingers.

and new seasons will come eventually..

It is a good time!

and yeah i have played Grim dawn too.. LE is a lot better..
Not really and not complete; theoretically yes but with the devs everything comes at a pace (a slow one); i like the classes.

Generally i have enjoyed my time with this game. I can't recommend it because after so long is still incomplete and EHG, the devs, are not to be trusted, in my opinion. But this is just my take.
I played this until end game like a year ago or so, but the end game loop was pretty boring, as there was pretty much two things to do. I liked the game, but it got boring really quick in the end game for me. I really want to like this game more, and I'm not saying it's bad at all. It's honestly pretty good. I'm really wondering if there's more to do at end game though.

Badly managed unity goyslop of a game, nothing much to explain.
Oh it is easy to play and item craft is most lenient, if you are looking for something casual.

Whatever you do OP, be it if you buy Last Epoch or not, I support this person absolutely: Try Grim Dawn. It's a masterpiece. And it's getting a new expansion real soon.

I would also recommend Grim Dawn. You can pick it up in sales for a few quid. I have 300 hours in it compared to only 60 in LE. The game world is much more enjoyable to explore (secret areas and bosses). You basically pick two archetypes and build your character from the skills in their skill tree. The biggest gripe i have with Last Epoch, Diablo 4 and POE2 is the fact all their world designs are boring to explore. LE you basically go from point a to point b without any point of exploring apart from completing quests. Makes for a real stale experience.

I have 500 something in grim dawn and 3200 something in Last epoch.
I think Last epoch is superior.

That being said.. Grim dawn is also a good game worth playing.. I might give it another run at some point as well. But if i had to pick one i would pick LE every time..

I've come back after quite some time and playing online is still a waste of time. The servers are still empty and keep disconnecting you frequently, it's pretty frustrating.

As an ARPG in offline mode, it can be enjoyable. You have a great game for many hours.

I've always thought they completely missed the mark with the multiplayer focus in this game. The community that Last Epoch had at the beginning wasn’t what it seemed to aim for, or at least that was my impression. And I think time has proven me right.

I have played probably a 1000 hours coop in LE.

I'm sorry to hear that. Stay strong.
