tornado and earth quake fire damage should be cold

can we please change tornado and earth quakes damage shift to be cold, not fire. ice thorns are craptastic at doing any damage, avalanche has a cooldown to be any real value, so there is no good ranged spammable spell skill. im stuck with the earth line melee skill when im building spells. There is no fire support in shaman, so just why?

Shaman is just at a bad place, unless your are druid primary. Storm totem is the only real totem offense for all the totem only passives used and even using Spriggan form to throw out a bunch of heals with thorns in-between is simply wasted time to get you killed for minimum damage. Spamming anything gives shamans nothing, everything is about buffing one totem's damage. If they could access frenzy totem in the BM line and got some better totem specific uniques, like one that give and extra storm totem, the class could be fixed.
