Search for idols in stash with higher %
I have 10 tabs with mostly ♥♥♥♥ stats that I have to go over to pick out the good stuff.

This will take me hours.... Please just allow me to search for % of max in stats.

There is no reason to force players to have to play this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mini game to be able to find the good stuff.

Uh, the loot filter was exactly what I was talking about. A filter that would allow you to know in advance that anything visible to you is worth picking up without looking twice in the heat of battle is what this game needs, and without a % of max roll function it will never be that.
You do know that you can re-roll the % of a roll in the Forge right? So as long as it's the Tier of a roll you're looking for, you can make it better (or worse, RNG is a ♥♥♥♥♥) in the Forge.
We're talking mainly about idols here.

Still, by that logic you can add affixes and upgrade them in the Forge, too, so filtering by affix and tier is superfluous as well. That all costs forging potential, as does rerolling. The base stats of an item before spending forging potential is one of the main determining factors for how good it will be when it's done, so giving us the option to filter out low rolls to begin with makes sense.

I swear to god sometimes, I get and am used to a lot of types of videogame trolling, but this sort of knee-jerk opposition to reasonable suggestions that imo people arent even reading all the way through.

Do these people realize they're being that type of people?

Some guy has legit, just a modest proposal about a minor UI pain point, and people show up to say.

"hey there, I havent taken the time to actually read what you're saying, but im pretty sure you cant have it and its bad"
