Loot filter guide
Does anyone have a guide or tutorial for how to make loot filters? Like, I know the hotkey, but it overall confuses me.

okay sorry I clearly titled this wrong. I think I should have used a question mark.

if you already know what rolls you want on gear you can use the lastepochtools website to theory craft your gear and once you have it all setup the site will create a loot filter for your build.

Or try looking YT, there are quite a few guides out there. AaronActionRPG has a good one that is easy to understand

You don't have to rely on lastepochtools. Honestly if you don't want to mix max right now, the game gives you everything you need. Here's my setup:

You can create a rule with affixes you want. I have it set up to have at least 2 desired affixes but you can touch that. This serves as a base for all rules.

On that same rule I added the highlight option "rare/exalted item of X subtype" and one by one for each type of gear I selected the bases I like for my build.

At almost the bottom of rules I put the very same affix template I've been used without any care for the rarity or item type. I chose to recolor it to gray, this is my "pick it to shatter" which I hide whenever I don't have that many shatter runes.

I choose to show all uniques and exalted without specific affixes next. I myself have a lot of characters so I'm always checking for interesting legendary bases.

And finally the very last rule is hide all items. This makes it so if it doesn't tick at least 1 of the prior rules, I won't ever see it.

Thank you, I need to learn what affixes are and such, still. But this is helpful.
