Velocity - shift
Could someone explain me what is a damaging non channelled spell exactly?

To be a "damaging non-channeled skill" said skill has to pass two checks.

First check is that it needs to deal damage. This is pretty obvious most of the time. Shift itself, for instance, deals no damage naturally. If you were to take the unseen strike node, however, Shift would deal damage and would then pass the first check.

Second check is that the skill cannot have the "channeling" casting type tag. Skill tags can be seen just below the mana cost if you hover over the skill (stuff like "SPELL", "ATTACK", MOVEMENT" ect.). Rogue currently has no abilities that channel naturally but Flurry, Shadow Cascade, and Hail of Arrows can all be converted to channels on their tree (which would then cause them to fail the second check).

Ah ok thank you very much.
Very clear explanation :)

I have to check the node of my shadow cascade but i wonder if it is not chanelled with the path i took and it is my main spell.
Do you know if the description below mana will adjust if we take node and transform a spell as chanelled?

I believe the tags do update if you have take a node that causes them to change. In case they do not, the node that causes Shadow Cascade to become channeled is called "Hurricane of Blades" and is on the right side of the tree. Any node that changes a skill to a channel explicitly mentions channeling in the description and adds a mana cost per second modifier to the skill.
