Question before buying

Hey all, been keeping an eye on LE for a little while, but completely forgot about it until I saw some stuff on my feeds about season 2. Done my research and I cannot wait to get in, however, I do have one question.

Is there any speculation about a potential sale for the 17th? $35 seems like a steal, so it's not really that big of a deal, but I did see some cosmetics on the shop that caught my eye, so I figured I would just pick up one or two of those if there is a perspective sale incoming for season 2.

Any insight would be welcome, but if its just a wait and see type thing, I have had an arpg itch recently while waiting for some other games, and should I just buy it regardless of whether there will be a sale? SteamDB says the lowest in USD price was $26, so im not really fussing about $10, though that is a cosmetic or two.

If they were smart they would probably discount it on season release, Better yet by chance if they were smart they would also announce it before release in its news section before a few days.

Still there's no guarantee what will happen. I'd just wait though unless you really want to jump in to get some experience.

Truth be told, the more videos and class examples I watch the more I want to play it lol. It's getting harder to resist just straight up buying it. I would plan on doing every mastery anyway, just to fully play the game since that's how I play these games, regardless of how much time it would take. So I was hoping if there was speculation of a little sale, I would hold off, but even then, even at what, $10, is it that big of a deal? eh.

Im just chomping at the bit based on everything I have seen so far.

The final patch notes for season 2 should be out tonight or tomorrow if I remember correctly. That might have some info on the possible sale.

Im really interested in playing the new take on melee they have, -If it's any good. Mainly on void knight revamp, Void knight was really good before im just curious how hes going to be like after the 17th.

My 9 (yes, nine) level 100 sentinels are a bit... eager to see the rework, I'd say.

Yup, checked out some of the preliminary patch notes and showcases, and pretty sure I saw Tri's dev interview as well because it came across my youtube feed. Honestly half the stuff that excites me is from a year+ ago anyway, the crafting, not having to pay $ for stash, the skill trees, how every mastery feels unique in their own way..

There was a specific piece of gear I thought was MTX, but turns out its a set bonus (the last bear's set), and I don't think there is a transmog system yet, so I guess if I don't hear about a sale in a day or two, im just going to grab it. I won't notice the $10 difference anyway.

Let's not confuse "set bonus" and "set", especially given how unique it would be.

Sets still suck, and you ONLY get the cosmetic if you were the (bright ish green) set pieces. You can disenchant them to get set bonuses to give to other gear, but it won't come with the looks. (Sadly)

Patch notes were released before you posted this. :p I see no mention of a sale. But @OP, I'd still wait because you don't want to start a week before everything changes drastically.

Right, i mistyped set bonus. Yea, the set is the last bear set, which I believed was MTX based on this: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3080440/Last_Epoch__Abyssal_Traveler_Supporter_Pack/ but I realized its just the shield and axe, not the actual armor, hence why I asked if anyone knew if a sale would come, because for saving $10, I could get this pack and get the armor I want.

But, I just want it for transmog, not necessarily to wear the set itsself lol.

Either way, sale or not, still going to be grabbing the game anyway
