Optimization is so bad
After doing some monoliths, I noticed huge stuttering in survival maps (defeat x waves). I checked my overlay and saw cpu 30% and gpu below 80%! How is that possible? Memory leak! Memory usage was at 8GB under task manager! Meaning the system will likely use pagefile from disk which is very very bad and provokes a lot of frame drops.

The only fix to the mem leak is to reboot the game... After a fresh boot, mem usage is around 2GB.

Yes, it has always been bad for me. It used to be worse too.

One of the reasons I didn't bother to come back, the engine they developed on is ass.

game is optimized for nasa computers. our generic pcs are not meant to play such a powerful game made by such powerful devs.

CPU and GPU percentage has nothing to do with memory.

Are you running the game on an SSD?

Is your pagefile on an SSD?

for this game while it's a good thing you have a large player count. seeing a large player count in this game is cringe because their netcode, the game itself and everything build within it lags, stutters, crashes and desyncs

Devs are hired by corrupted hr/managers. They dont know how to program. If you play online you will encounter infinite loading caused by terrible server software architecture.

My GPU fans are going ham from the moment I run the game, and this game only. RTX 4090. I love the game but I feel like I'm killing my PC when I play it

ye, performance is huge trash, was in a Monolith Arena, as Warlock with Cthonic Fissure.. dude, game went down to 15 fps.. havent had that before in my 200+ hours...
The performance in general is already ♥♥♥♥, but if you play a non minion Warlock its even worse

Never had an issue

Ya my performance is noticeably worse after the patch. My RAM usage goes to 100% and every time I close the game, I have to force close it from the task manager. I have tried doing Aberroth a few times and my frames drop and then I'm dead. Good thing I don't play HC lol.

Edit: If I restart my PC it helps for a while.

Yes SSD. My point being with CPU and GPU not at max load, game should not stutter that much.

I'm playing with a 4790k and GTX 1080 and have had no issues since the 0.9 update.
It definitely use to have some stutter/lag though.
I was worried when they did some of the new lighting in areas. I thought it would be worse performance, but it somehow actually helped my frames lol.

For some reasons, the Welryn Outskirts map on the Imperial Era completely tank the performance for my pc. Kinda weird that as of now, that level work quite bad while the rest of the game works as before, give or take.

It's Unity engine, right? This one is terribly optimized, I think "7 Days to Die" also uses it. In both games everything runs smoothly typically, but of of nowhere GPU load climbs and my PC fans go nuts. It goes on for 5 minutes and then goes back to normal again.
