Does this game need a extra account? I dont like it to overuse my email and create a account for every new game out there. Does it really need a extra account or is steam enough when i want to play solo?

Nope, and I am not a fan of creating extra accounts but the lack of any hack n slash in my life overpowered me and said forget it, and was happily surprised that I booted the game up and played and did not ask me.

Ok was buying it and will test it later, sadly i feel the same lack then you and diablo 4 is so far away:)

I thought Wolcen would be the one, but gosh they just need to fix that game.. which it seems like they can't.

Was playing wolcen 80 hours at release but my motivation to go through the game again is not very high. They was adding a few new things but i think i wait till they bring a real addon with the missing chapters. I am even a bit unsure if i should start last epoch now because it is still early access and usual i like to play finished games.

I played Last Epoch for like 10 hours and you can tell its EA. Its a good foundation and will be a great game but not sure I want to dump 50- 100 hours etc into EA I will save that commitment for release especially with Cyberpunk releasing today hah.

Yes, a Last Epoch account has always been a requirement for the game during this early access period. Patch 0.8 had temporarily disabled this due to several backend infrastructure changes, but has returned in Patch 0.8c:

Note: Last Epoch requires a Last Epoch account for all users.
If you are a new user since the release of Beta 0.8 you will now need to register an account with Beta 0.8c. You will be presented a registration screen upon entering the game after the update. This will not affect any saved data.

Why they do this if they already have steam and the game works without, i hate it when legal customers get harassed with such things.

Exactly my thoughts, if this continues i sit here with a book of accounts and passwords + all the security problems this could create. Torchlight3 or wolcen have shown how this could be handled better, and if someone really wants to create a account for extra features then make it optional.

You only have to login once...so why would you keep a book with the password(s) ?

That makes it just more weird, my email must be very important for the devs.

Yeap, wish I would have held off a few more days. I just happen to get lucky they disabled account creation. I'll probably never pick the game back up because of that. I too have a mountain of passwords in my life, from my job, games and personal life (paying bills , etc.) I DO NOT want anymore.
