Monoliths are tedious
I just see no point - you grind them again and again with little blessing reward.

Patch 1.1 added some more depth with Nemesis - now at least I can get more items in more consistent way. But still...

I wish monoliths have more steps with more rewards, but with same length overall.

Yes, you are right. They are just totally ok. And tedious. And even boring. Nowhere great fun to do for an endgame in the longrun. Hope trehy will improve. A lot. They need to, if they are going to be the main Endgame thing in this game.

The fact that they start at such an absurdly low difficulty doesn't help either.

Like, we already had to go through the campaign - I don't think we need yet more tutorial-level gameplay.

I kind of get why they do it, because there are some who need to farm better gear, but yeah. It's a tad easy.

I don't think difficulty will help - it will make monolith's grind longer, while I think it's a main problem. It's just too long for too small reward.

Monoliths are great for grinding, but currently there is no point in grinding. They need to add uber bosses (or a similar goal) so that the grind is meaningful.

I haven't even bothered playing this cycle, it doesn't add anything to the base game which severely lacks end game.

Read the 1.1 patch notes.

I think the existence of 2 tiers of monolith (non and empowered) is a bad design choice. Grinding one set takes enough time as it is, by the time you reach empowered you've already lost part of the enjoyment and novelty.

There is a shortcut. Just do the last 3 normal monos to get to empowered, you can skip the rest.

It definetly needs a major rework/overhaul, it got really stale especially for those who have been playing since Early Access.
