Why is everything so expensive?

I had a look into the bazar a few days ago and noticed that many wanted items are being sold for rediculously high prices and i cant afford any of those and wont be able to for the rest of cycle, so I quit playing because i cant buy any upgrades for my build. can someone explain what happened to the economy? i hope this will get fixed.. thanks in advance

Because the player who listed it set the price to be what it is.

Will it "get fixed"? Sure. Just tell all the players on the auction house to stop listing items for such a high price.

There was a dupe running for a weekend that filled the economy with a lot of gold. The dupe was eventually stopped, people who abused it banned, but that money will remain in the economy and prices aren't going to return to normal this season. So no, it's not going to be "fixed."

Switch to CoF honestly.

Happened last cycle as well. Don't trust merchant's guild, ever. There will always be a gold exploit.

Expensive items on auction house means you can earn a lot of money if you start selling them, go grind.

The real problem rn is lack of any good items, I have 2 billions of gold and I cannot buy anything worthy at all. All good players quit the game after the dupe happened. There is not anyone to farm good equipment.
