So, what is going on here?

With the recent updates I don´t see a game that wants to improve significantly.

I mean, I thank the efforts from EHG to take the community feedback, but I feel that the main focus is missing in the base game, such as the performance and meaning changes (better endgame for example) in the gameplay. I prefer stability instead of weird mechanics.

I also understand those who have supported this project for years, myself included. Because we saw in Last Epoch a contender that was on par with titles like PoE or Grim Dawn (Blizzard died to me after Diablo 2).

At least I'm not interested in the game having character customization, because it's not immersive either, since it doesn't have cinematics to justify it, like Baldur's Gate 3 or games of that style.

Therefore, the only thing I wish is that EHG really takes this challenge seriously and doesn't abandon the game soon after or continue releasing updates that don't solve the most serious basic problems.

PS: EHG, Don't make me change my review, pls.

PS2: I am not a hater of the game or the company, so if some people going to give me that clown emote, thanks for losing points like idiots. To others who wish to give their point of view, welcome. In the end, all of us arpg lovers want this type of game to be successful.

For me it's simple, I love the game but gave a downvote review because it has so many bugs still. Some are even since EA.

Every now an then the instance is bugged and I can only walk. Group Play with my Girlfriend was impossible. No rewards after Monolith completion, can't use my skills and more.

Thes are just a few, there are plenty more!

Also, the Controller controls are the worst I've seen in any ARPG.

If they would fix these issues or at least some of them, I would change my review.

At this rate the developers will have worked out the bugs by the year 2037. I really liked the game before 1.0 since it showed promise but now... I really can't trust the devs anymore doing anything right.

The game core design choices and ideas are all good. Content is little but we can see it grow a bit, looks promising for s3-4 and further.

What is unacceptable is amount of bugs in the game, amount of broken stuff, the level of optimization and quality of servers. The lag, the bug fiesta, and the dupes that ruin economy.

Trade guild is pretty much dead, half players quit after the dupe, another half plays CoF there are no good items in AH to buy.

The game is bad.

Quit saying things like "I love the game!!!" but then give a huge wall of why no one should play the game. No, you HATE the game. You give thumbs down and negative reviews to games you HATE. You HATE it. Stop saying stupid crap like "I like this bug ridden, barely playable game".

There are many fanboys here that are spamming the clown emote in this thread and in the forum. So..., people are desperate when their game is criticized?

At least let EHG hire you and pay you for corporate defense.

They must be about 12 years of mental age. I wish they knew that you can enjoy a game and criticize it at the same time.

Everyone gets the clown emote for any kind of opinion. Idiots think that giving you points is the same as having an intelligent rebuttal to any argument. I like the game, but the recent bugs since the update have really been a pain in the ass. I'm hoping things finally get fixed, but who knows?

The game has a lot of things wrong with it,

The classes are not great
The builds are boring
There is just not enough build enabling items
You can not make a powerful character, you have to do ABCD, what they set the character to be, and you can not go beyond it.
The animations are pretty bad and not satisfying
End game is still bad
The loading screens take a long time

The whole monolith system for end game is bad
You can not skip the campaign and finish quests for alt characters.
Yes there are skip keys, but the quests do no progress, do not give you rewards, do not unlock the zones.

The new bosses they added are cool, need more of that.
The loot system is great, I love it, the crafting, the way you can mod items, really good.
The market and prophecy system is good, the end game boss faction is good.

Everything else is just bad.

I hope EHG really improve and fix the game. I think this game has a very interesting general idea. But these last updates are ♥♥♥♥.

Game is better than before, but game is still in very bad place. This is from an angle of playing Rogue/Acolyte for a bit...so maybe...I am burnt out playing those 2 so going to try something different right now and see if it's just me.

Edit: yeah...no...can't do it.

Honestly, I'd be happy if they fixed where when you enter a dungeon, it doesn't go into infinite loading or where everything freezes up and you're basically just walking through empty corridors and can only reload your game, either way wastes a key. I've had this problem since the update and would really like to do Temporal a few times and fix up some gear, but here we are.

I have just recently changed my positive to a negative review because of all the annoying bugs that are still in this game after all these months...

Also the optimisation of the game is terrible.

The game has plenty of potential but a lot of things hold it back.
For one is the near mandatory campaign. If the key skips also completed the quests then that’s fine but at thing point it’s just better to rush the campaign thru act 7.
The sheer number of bugs need to be addressed quicker
The lag also needs to be addressed.
Game also needs better end game stuff to do.
That being said the crafting system is deep and good, the affixes progression is good imo without making your self more and more op.

Not how it works. Reviews don't ask whether you like the game or if it's good or bad. They ask if you would recommend it to others. But that requires for people to make the difference between "liking something" and "this is good". And on the internet it seems that few can.

Edit: Well, little clarification. Reviews do ask what you like (and dislike) about the game. And if you recommend it. That's what the thumbs are for.

Game feels directionless. Many bugs. Some classes are still clearly much more end game viable than others.

This game will never reach Grim Dawn levels of player engagement or longevity.
