Bug: A Study in time

I have done all the steps in the different timelines, found the sceleton of the officer, got some line about wondering how long he's been here. Went back to the Imperial Era, door won't open. It's telling me I need an officers crest. Questmarker is on the door, but I can do nothing.

I had the same problem earlier today. Tried zoning, re-logging, going back to Ruined Era college, no luck. Then I logged back on a few hours later and gave it one last try and voila: worked as expected. The only other thing I did in between was go back to the original quest-giver. So I guess just...keep trying? Good luck!

Thanks, when I went back 2 Main Quests later the door opened for me too. Still annoying.
