Last Epoch

Immortal Emperor Theory.
Its Grael.

Why do i believe that ?

1.)
He was send to find the 3rd piece at the start of the story and the Keeper was very displeased hearing he was send doing so ALONE.

2.)
Said 3rd piece is found by us later in the hands of none other then the Corrupted Immortal Emperor. There are no multiple versions of the Epoch it excists only once across all timelines so its the same piece.

3.)
All our former companions have high positions within the Emperors Undead army but the argubly the strongest one is missing completely which is Grael. Even if he died by fighting our hated Phoenix God its not an issue because being Undead is the whole theme of the Empire.

4.)
Kinda odd that the Emperor was also fixated on Rahyeh and even took his power for himself after "killing him".

5.)
In the Monolith side story we find out while confronting him that he isnt actually as much of a nice guy as we believed. He murders right on command no questions asked.

Right now literally everything leads to the Emperor being Grael. He hated Rahyeh so i assume he used part of the Epoch which he never delivered to us and killed him. Then he was contacted trough the Epoch by Orobis and he told him about becoming "Immortal" and so he did meanwhile his Researchers also found out a way to use Rahyehs flames for more power but by using it somewhere down the road he unleashed Orobis and the Void upon us.

What do you think ?

Interesting theory. Have to see when they expand the story some more.

Sounds logical, but then Julia should have mentioned it.

Hmm interesting. The emperor has a few pieces of dialogue talking to the player character like they know them too, so why not.

Julia also didnt mention that she knows us and expects us to have the Lance already which she finds out we dont have yet.

I would assume talking about the one thing that can get rid of the Emperor is mandatory. And given the fact she assumed this whole time that we have it talking with us about that is logical.
That sounds like an excellent theory; I look forward to seeing the last three chapters of the story. The question is, when are they coming out?
