I am at 265 corruption i think with that one.. are you planning to go further?
I started on a beastmaster 2 days ago that i am playing now and i just hit empowered monos, but if you like i can log on the other build and look at the stats.
Just have to gear for it. If Shaman has no passives that particularly facilitate any of those.. gear is your answer. (Just don't forget to beef up your resists and actual armor stat.)
Endurance is the route i went with the shaman.
57% endurance and 1100 threshold is what my shammy is currently at.
Had to sacrifice a fair bit of dps stats to get there but in the end it felt so much better.
Ehat this guy said - Endurance, Endurance threshold, and HP - and talents from the Beastmaster.
Primalist as a whole is together with Sentinel (Forge Guard ) the worst / most boring class you can play.
I would argue that Primalist is even worse off considering that there is barely any defense to it (unlike paladin who can get 30k-100k ward from spamming 1 button).
Its a worse beastmaster archetype than Falconer , with way less damage and equally bad surviveability (pets + player). Earthquake builds are awful as the mana cost is exorbitantly high and also in melee range.
I have not tried Druid or Shaman yet but looking at statistics it is quite obvious that they are not good either (nor fun when looking at their gameplay).
*Disclaimer: When im saying "not good" I mean underwhelming in comparison to other classes.
Can't die if enemies never get on screen with you
Beserker (20% DR) while low life, Conflux (8% DR) vs shocked targets, Ursine Strength (16% DR) from nearby enemies, Boar Aspect (15% DR,) which can be boosted to 30% DR with more points spent into it. and even more with increased effect boar aspect affixes if you really wanted to stack it further.
Passives:
1) Boar Heart in Beastmaster
2) Lamprey Teeth in Beastmaster
3) Armor passives in Druid and Shaman
4) Conflux in Shaman
In general:
- 1000 health minimum for monoliths. Ideally reach 2k-3k HP.
- get 2000 Armor. Affixes on gear, Blessings, Strength also gives Armor.
- Resistances close to 75%
Then you either need health regen, 60 hp/sec should be enough to start with. Or you need damage leech, Lamprey Teeth for melee, Spell Leech Blessing and Avarice/Prism Wraps uniques for spell build.
You can even run Ward too, you need high health, Exsanguinous, and find/craft experimental gloves with "Experimental Ward per Missing Health" affix.
You can do Endurance, as others suggested.
You can do Block too, grab a good shield and craft + Block Chance, Damage Reduction on Block and Block Effectiveness on it.
Or use the boar head helmet that has health leech on the implicit.. or some other health leech item.. and you are good to go..
