200% ennemy crit chance modifier question
Hi,

There's a monolyth modifier that gives 200% crit chance to ennemies. I thought I would avoid all crit with my 101% critical strike avoidance but I guess I'm wrong.

Do I need 200% crit avoidance to be sure to not be crit or 101% is enough?

So it's a bit weird to understand but the modifier is actually 200% increased critical strike chance, which is a 200% increase modifier to whatever their base crit strike chance is. On a hit, the Critical Strike Chance (200% or triple whatever the enemy's original crit chance is) is rolled to determine if the hit is a crit or not. If the hit is crit, it increases the base damage by the Critical Strike Multiplier.

Critical strike avoidance on the other hand, if you had 100%, is 100% chance of reducing every crit received to a normal attack instead.

In Short form - Yes 101% crit avoidance will not get you crit

I mean if i answered that way, it would imply that going over 100% crit avoidance is relevant at all to the 200% enemy modifier.
