Planning to buy...
Are the Deluxe and Ultimate Edition worth it or just the base game alone is enough?

Buy the base game first and if you like it, you can always upgrade to either edition later.

Its just cosmetics.
Cosmetics are never worth paying extra.
And if you really want cosmetics, you might like better other ones.

Buy standard. If you like the game and want to support the devs, buy deluxes.

as others have said, base game gives all the content, deluxe/ultimate is there if you later want to support the developers via cosmetics (or just show others in the occasional hub your bling).

Just make sure the online will work for you, otherwise will be stuck with offline mode and cosmetics are not available in offline because devs are out of touch.

They are not. They're just not on steam. Don't make baseless accusations.

They are, read the notes "Cosmetic items require an online connection and are not available in offline mode."
and not being on Steam, is the definition of being out of touch.

Sorry, I misunderstood your statement! You're correct.

Those additions are cosmetics that work online only.
Value varies..

Weird, here I thought they game was sold on Steam, which means they pretty much are on Steam.
Now if you mean they do not frequently comment the cesspool that goes for forums on Steam, there are many, many, many developers (indie and otherwise) that do so, and it has nothing to do with being out of touch. It has more to do with communicating with your community in an area you have proper control over.

I don't think that anything you wrote contributes to this post in any meaningful way.
Thanks anyway.
