Lagon is easy though? Am I missing something here? Is he meant to be hard? I'm confused.
While not every build or player will struggle with him, he's far harder than any previous boss due to a long HP bar and a huge number of AoE oneshots.
So I guess we will never know.
they literally told you
die in a dungeon = lose the dungeon etc
You're the second person I've met on this forum who asks a question, then wilfully ignores a clear answer while claiming people aren't helping him.
IF YOU DIE IN A DUNGEON / MONO / ARENA, YOU FORFEIT THE REWARDS. Holy horseballs. The campaign doesn't have heavy punishments for dying because it doesn't need to; the purpose is to determine if your build is workable or not.
The previous person I met complained loudly and regularly that he wasn't buying Last Epoch because it didn't have a "real" offline mode, after ignoring about 50 people who said you can access a totally offline mode by selecting "Full Offline" in the launch options.
The actual answer is: this is a casual game for casual players. That's all.
Everyone here would agree Diablo 4 was made for casuals and Last Epoch is actually easier than D4 from levels 1 to 95 (pretty much all of it). Compare how easily bosses die in both games.
So penalize yourself, dump your items if you die. This concept where you need something negative forced on you is idiotic. If you want a penalty, impose your own. Other people not having a penalty doesn't affect your game.
Penalize yourself, or stfu.
The End.
then refund it
There's a Hardcore option, but it merely converts your character into a standardcore character after the first death rather than deleting them outright.
