Last Epoch is a Buy To Play game which will enter beta on April 30th.

Buying the game & beta access costs $35. At release the game will be $15."

Soooo, why isn't it 15$ yet? Am I missing something?

Its funny because awhile back, I asked for a sale and was told the price of the game was supposed to actually be more, paying for early access would get you the cheaper version. I was told that 34.99 was the sale price as it would be more upon full release. Full release is here and the price is exactly the same.

My gripe at the time was they were pumping out MTX but didn't have multiplayer implemented. I was told the MTX were only cosmetic and they needed money to make the game blah blah blah. I personally just cant support devs who pump out mtx without a complete product. Putting dev resources to make cosmetics when your game isn't even close to feature complete seems like a backwards way of doing things, but I was told that I don't know anything.

FF two years and nothing has changed, and Grim Dawn is still a better product all around. They have loyalist packs to support the devs. Which I'm fine because the game is out, has multiple expansions and is feature complete. But hey what do I know. I'll buy Last Epoch eventually because I like aRPG's but not until its under 20 bucks. I know my friends feel the same way. Regardless you want to make money and sell copies, data shows sales boost sales.

I am going to take a wild guess and say the cosmetics in LE cost more than the currency bundles, please tell me I'm wrong, but I have a feeling I'm not.

Yes, you're missing something.

Why would they lower a price of a product if people are buying said product at the current price en masse?

Thank you for responding to my post in a proper and polite response.

I bought the game and think it is worth every dollar. I take back a few of the things I said in my prior post. The mtx are semi affordable, prob could be a little cheaper but you don't have to buy them (I prob never will, still haven't on d4 lol). Is it better than grim dawn? idk yet, but it def has a different feel and I like it tbh. I didn't enjoy Grim Dawn until they added the evade feature. Some people want pure this or that, and we all have different tastes but I really like it.

I def recommend it as it has some really nice things like unlimited stash, loot filters you can fully customize, offline/online, I like that its fast paced, codex that explains every system, and a few other things I cant think of atm. I haven't hit end game yet but so far so good. I haven't had any issues with servers other than a little lag. Def worth 34.99, esp if you spent 70 on D4. GL and I hope you pick it up!
