Loot filter improvement
Loot filter is nice. Although it could use some improvement to be perfect.

My biggest complaint is as of now: Recolor should overwrite the item color in the inventory / chest as well not just on the ground.

Edit: best idea so far is to have a colored border and text, sou you can keep your original background color

Hmm... The whole background doesn't need to change (for me) but a recolored Border or another way (maybe a dot on the top right corner?) to display the loot filter color (if overwritten) would be great.
E.G. I've set up some items in my lootfilter just for dismantling them for shards. Here it would be great if I could visually identify those items visually, without the need of checking each items affixes again.

Would like that option as well, yeah.
that make no sense, the color in the Inventory is there so YOU can see what Rarity it is, if you need to Search for something, use the Search bar in the bottom, you can search for Legendary Potential, Weaver, Off-hand, Sword, Pretty much everythink, even the affixes, prefixes.
As I do play on different computers, I would like to see my filters synced via Steam cloud.

First of all, the whole thing would be optional, just as the whole filter is optional... You don't have to use it, if you don't want to, but as you can see, there's a "market" for it.

2: It defeats it's whole purpose. You just told me to type my already existing loot filter into the search box, what's inferior compared to it. (No affix selection by tiers, etc)

3: Btw, changing the color of the item's background wouldn't change the rarity of it, in fact it would still be labeled as Legendary. As of now, the Recolor filter changes the color of every item on the ground, regardless of rarity. So ...

4: But to find common ground with you: if the loot filter's "Recolored affix" would change the text on the item in the inventory / chest, it would already be a better solution. But even then you would have to hover your mouse over it. So you couldn't identify it at a glance.

Rarity is written in text on item anyway, no harm to change the color via loot filter as optional feature.

Good point!

I would also like to have "Exceptions" added to the filter, and more complex "codes" in one line. That would also help with some priority problem, what we have now.

I still don't know, why are you so butt hurt on this one. I know multiple player who loved the idea or they had the same one without me.

Yet again, don't use it if you don't want to. BUT it doesn't mean if you don't use it, others can't have it.

Btw your logic about loot filter is not an inventory filter is interesting, since other game has this feature as LOOT FILTER... :/

Because guess what's in your inventory ?

Loot

No offense, have fun with the game <3

"Multiple players" there are like 8 Post here dude, 3 of them are replies to my own post, so you are pretty much alone in this "imaginary" problem.
I mean, look dude, NO ONE wants a filter that make more problems, the reasons that "loot" in inventory has color is to easily see what rarity it is and not what affix it has, that wouldnt make any sense nor would it make it great, you would be annoying in 1-2 hours at best since you cant find ♥♥♥♥ in your chest.
I`m missing the same functionality. We Filter loot and identify via recolor. lets say Low and High frequency affixes. But once it is collected it is all mixed and I have to look each of them to separate in individual inventory tabs.
There are some ways to implement it, maybe add tags to the items for example.

Another additional cool suggestion is a Filter for the Inventory, rules that automatic send items to specific tabs

In the end both functionalities may work together like add an item tag based in the loot filter and once you drop in the inventory it goes straight to a specific tab. But this last is some additional cool tool, in the other hand the item tagging based on looting filter rules is a must.

Tell me you have not done a single min max forging, where rarity means NOTHING , without telling me you haven't.

Sure i did, but not with COLOR in the INVENTORY, that makes no sense whatsover, it make EVEN LESS sense when your LOOT FILTER is tuned correctly so you only see what you need...

Not to talk about what min max forging has anythink to do with your inventory rainbow color you want to do...

And that's my point, you know jack sh1t about forging, more precisely about affix shards' tiers :)
Pro tip, you can have over 100 Stash tabs and tab groups. Make one for the items you want colored, and color the tab that color. You can then drop items on the ground to remind yourself what color it was, and then put the item in that tab. Now you have your colored items
