The whole point is to make players start in a fresh economy and to sell seasonal MTX, just like how PoE works.
The people that enjoy cycles like them exactly for the global fresh start.
A character that is a few days or weeks old is absolutely not the same as a character that might be years old. The "power creep" in legacy realms becomes absurd over time, it's inevitable.
You might not get it, but many do.
There is a reason.
If you were in the majority, MOST people would be playing off cycle.
They are in fact, not. Most people who play argp understand that starting over once in a while makes the game overall better. It prevents a stagnating economy, where only end game items would matter.
If you don't want to start over every reason, then play off season, and stop ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about an extremely basic game design choice that has been prooven to be popular and well liked for more than a decade.
Well I guess that's true when you decide that the reasons given to you aren't "valid". That's a dumb thing to do, but it's your prerogative.
