What happened to the character intros?

did they remove the character intros from when you start a new character? I remember in early access they showed them but I got a lore cutscene in the beginning instead

I guess they felt the new lore video better got players into the story and didn't want two videos at the start.

Yes they removed them I asked the same questions as I was confused as well.
They are still in the game directory as a .bundle you might be able to replace it if you have the technical knowledge I am going to try doing that some-point in the future if no mod gets made for it.

And honestly the new intro does not tell you anything about your character only the world I think it was a big mistake not just doing both cutscenes.

i was bummed out by this since the characters do have little stories. Like the mage was the acolyte's teacher and is now hunting her.

I hope this is a sign that the gender lock gets removed. Those intro vids were gender locked as well, as far as Im aware of.
