there is a way to make the character inventory bigger? i tired of going back to the vendors every 5 minutes.

I don't even pick up the stuff. Most things are worth what...10-20g? I get more destroying furniture. I only carry stuff I might need for the current or a future character...and stuff worth more than 200g.

Dude... this game has "unlimited" bank stash tabs and the best loot filter in all of ARPGs. This is not a problem.

Use filter get what you need for your class. Leave uniques/ sets as shown and put them as priority over your rules for affixes etc so they can be picked regardless your settings.

the only way that i know to make gold is selling loot to the vendors. if i don't pickup everything and sell how do you make gold?

You simply pick up the gold that is laying around everywhere. Which is also way more than the gold you get from selling stuff.

Selling items gives you almost nothing. Make a good filter and only pick up items for shattering or crafting.
