Yeah, almost all other ARPG games allow us to move and attack with the same button. We move when we don't have the cursor hovering an enemy, we attack when our cursor is hovering an enemy or by pressing a second button that let us stay still. Just to give you a really old game example: Diablo 2 has that... I'm not saying Diablo 2 Resurrection, I'm saying Diablo 2, prior to Lord of the Destruction, has this fuction.

there needs to be a way to get what virtually every other arpg has had for conrol... left mouse moves and attacks, shift-left force attacks in place.
ive tried to deal with this weird as hell jank control setup but i just cant. ill look in on the game in a couple of months and see if this has been resolved, if not, ill probably never come back to it again, which is a shame.
But I can't understand why you'd want to have the option of trying to click past something and accidentally start attacking. I lost a many HC Grim Dawn character to this and when I found out I could bind Left Click to Force Move I was sold instantly and when I saw this game offered the ability to move without attacking I was so happy. I just wish Titan Quest would let me do it too.
Edit: I should also point out that even when it was working prior to the multiplayer patch, you only had the option of basic attacks (which no build actually uses) or one of the other 5 skills on your bar. So you couldn't have 6 skills, only 5 with one used twice.
ive got 1000+ hours in grim dawn and i have literally never run into that problem even one time, nor can i imagine id ever want it set up that way... BUT, thats why i am playing grim dawn right this moment and NOT last epoch, because grim dawn gives you the OPTION to set it up however you like.
i would be totally fine with a skill being repeated, and being limited to just 5 or whatever. just please for the love of god add the option to make the controls work like every other arpg ive ever played. there is just too much muscle memory for me to overcome, and i will likely never play this game again if i cant change the controls to something that makes sense.
im sure there must be some other arpg out there somewhere that uses this jank-assed setup, but ive certainly never played whatever it is... so i cant imagine why on earth they would have decided to break with that convention...
Why the f did they even launch then?
Having LMB ONLY be move is asinine. And it's especially bad for people who have disabilities, as we can now only use a single mouse button to attack.
And there's no right-click driving. example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gFfyo2rqkg
And there's no way to activate hotbar skills with the mouse.
People raved about Last Epoch for years. I'm not seeing why if the game is barely playable due to server issues (and online/offline separation) and now control ones.
