Review after nearly 50 hours in 1.0
Great game, as far as ARPGs go this is one of the best on the market today. Having said that there is some pretty serious issues...

1. Your launch has been terrible. Your being review bombed because of it and this will sadly effect the longevity of the game. Whether or not you made enough money to make it worth the long term loss is yet to be seen.

2. No log in queue system in 2024? Really? [edit] I just seen other posts saying there is now a queue system, good work!

3. No way to target uniques/legendary potential is a massive mistake. I am level 95, spent tens of thousands of points on legendary staff prophecies, every rune of ascendance i found used on staff, 6 full pages of legendary potential uniques in my stash and guess what? Not a single legendary potential aberants call. Absolutely unacceptable for a build defining item to be held hostage behind the worst RNG i have ever experienced in a game. This will turn people off long term, no doubt about it. Add a NPC into the game to trade unwanted uniques for ones you want asap.

Truth be told i logged out tonight and im not sure ill log back in. 50 hours and i feel like i have seen everything the game has to offer. I love APRGs for the chase of "the perfect item" with perfect rolls but when you cant even get a single non perfect version of the item to drop, it really kills the drive to play.

Looking forward to the next season, hopefully by then youll have fixed the above 👌.

Well you done with the game when you hit lvl 100. There is nothing more for you to get.

2. The game had a que system from the moment 1.0 launched. If you never interacted with it it's because you had trouble connecting with the servers to begin with or because there weren't enough people on the server to require one when you loged in.

3. No offence but most ARPGs don't offer targeted unique farming for most of their uniques. There might be a few that are targetable, but most uniques have a whide pool where they can drop. And most ARPGs aren't dead because of it.

50 hours is more than most gamers spend playing in a month and you did that in 5 days. I know ARPGs are time sinks but 50 hours is also more than most gamers spend on any one game. I don't mean to diminish your fun, but if you got 50 hours of entertainment from LE that should probably be considered a big win. Then again, you had 50 hours to spend over 5 days, you might have expected 1000s of hours of entertainment.

There are 3 MMO ARPGs that are played right now, 2 of them offer targeted legendary farming and 1 has trading allways on. Granted PoE doesn't have targetted farming for all of their items but for a large portion they do.

I spent 50 hours cause I found the game entertaining. I wouldn't say that 50 hours is a great runtime for an MMO though, particularly one that requires people to purchase micro transactions to keep the servers online.

I had bought the game years ago and I purchased a cosmetics pack for 1.0 to support the Devs. Soooo what happens now? I got my 50 hours out of it so move on? Devs need people like me to keep playing, giving me reasons to purchase cosmetics.

I just think there is a couple of things they could do to increase retention but as I said maybe they made enough money off the hype that it isn't important now.

Likes the chase for the perfect item. Complains they didn't get it in 50 hours.

XD
I am pretty sure there is target farming uniques in this game, not only through runes of ascendance but through specific monoliths.
