Hopefully devs don't balance the game around tourists opinions.
My only issue is that there is no lead up to the complexity spike. Everything you fight in the game up to that point is trivial. It would have been nice if the bosses just gradually become more and more difficult and complex^^
Personally I wish more bosses were like Lagon, best in the game IMO. Multiple stages, dangerous attacks, actual other attacks that hit when you dodge the big ones, dramatic music, etc.
I think it's weird because it doesn't happen ever again, unless you're fighting Lagon. Most of the rest of the fights you can just stand and hit and tank damage. None of them require as much mechanical skill as Lagon does.
So it's like it teaches you a lesson, but that lesson isn't ever useful again.
They should add some sort of bypass or helper nerf to the microtransaction store so losers like me can see what the second half of the game is like. It's not like that would effect anyone that's actually good. Got to him with two characters in early access and one now that it's been released. Just don't have a prayer even with a full group of friends.
None of us are particularly competent at anything.
