Opinion on Lagon
Do you think he is to easy or to hard? The boss seems to be controversial

Fought him once on my Necromancer. Only issue was that most of his attacks were a one shot to not just me, but my tanky non-golem minions. Which was a harsh contrast to the normal enemies and bosses by that point of the story. Wasn't hard really, just kind of cheap. Not sure what damage type he uses as I forgot. I guess just stack whatever resistances of types he most uses and pray.

I think he is fair. if you just stand there and let him hit you with telegraphed attacks you will probably die

Back and forth left to right constantly move you can go further down stairs on left and right sides

Lagon is fine. It's a big boss fight that lets you know that this game isn't Diablo where you just stand and hit and tank damage because you can't die. It's the point where you either learn that you need to use traversal skills or at least move around or give up because it's too hard for you.

Easy enough for anyone with a functionning brain, too hard for tourists

Hopefully devs don't balance the game around tourists opinions.

The fight is absolutely fine, just did it for the first time today, died a couple of times, once to a bug.
My only issue is that there is no lead up to the complexity spike. Everything you fight in the game up to that point is trivial. It would have been nice if the bosses just gradually become more and more difficult and complex^^

Yeah I can see that - the game kinda goes from bosses with some sort of moves that you mainly facetank (I mean there's a few where you eventually need to move out of poison or flame) to a boss that you need to watch out for one shots from multiple attacks.

Personally I wish more bosses were like Lagon, best in the game IMO. Multiple stages, dangerous attacks, actual other attacks that hit when you dodge the big ones, dramatic music, etc.

Kind of.

I think it's weird because it doesn't happen ever again, unless you're fighting Lagon. Most of the rest of the fights you can just stand and hit and tank damage. None of them require as much mechanical skill as Lagon does.

So it's like it teaches you a lesson, but that lesson isn't ever useful again.

Paladin here.. absolutely slapped him around like he owed me money. Hands down a better boss than anything Diablo or PoE has ever coughed up as an excuse of an ARPG boss fight in light of this guy. 10/10. Be res capped. Be ready to oh ♥♥♥♥ your potion. You should have a movement ability and a shield / big defensive / cooldown. Alternate between physically dodging one Moon beam and Shielding / potion on the next. Kite it. Swap between 1 of the 2 tentacles.. they share a healthpool. Rely on your res cap to help vs the lightning bolts and the first tick of Moon Beam

Or, honestly, you could just dodge all of the attacks on any class without the need for a bunch of defenses.

Certainly hard but not too big of a deal imo

They should add some sort of bypass or helper nerf to the microtransaction store so losers like me can see what the second half of the game is like. It's not like that would effect anyone that's actually good. Got to him with two characters in early access and one now that it's been released. Just don't have a prayer even with a full group of friends.

Literally one competent friend should be able to get you past him even if you can't alone - you revive after he dies.

None of us are particularly competent at anything.
