No Appearance tab in Offline?!

Hi,

I just realized the offline mode doesn't ever unlock the greyed out Appearance tab. This is absolutely scandulous.

So they gifted us a cosmetic because we can only play in Offline mode atm, but that gift is only unlockable in Online mode! Hilarious! And ♥♥♥♥ you!

Yup. Microtransactions need to be authenticated to make sure you actually opened up your wallet. They're the reason live service games even exist these days. So, you're just going to have to go without them if you want to play offline.

Why should the cosmetics that you buy on steam also be locked to online only? Offline is a legitimate part of the game. There is zero justification for this.

That is a lie and you know it. Look at other games that sell DLC. Look at Grim Dawn that also sells cosmetics.

Grim Dawn isn't trying to be a live service game with a built in microtransaction shop like Last Epoch.

This, I don't remember seeing any mods including paid skin and cosmetic DLC in Monster Hunter World

and in MHW we could use them even when offline

No they are not, so their cosmetics are DLC on the steam page. Like Last Epoch, its not in your face and not over the top.
