Necro question about shred armor.

Enjoying the class (subclass). Question about shred armor. I have +100% for my minions to shred armor, but it hits sooooo rarely. I assume this is because my base value is low and adding to it wont add up to much. Can any of the devs or pros shed light on this?

What skill or passive are you referring to exactly ?

Because 100% shred armor means 1 shred armor proc per hit, so if it's on auto attack, it should apply 1 proc on each attack. If it's on a skill, 1 proc per skill activation.

I'm not sure what you mean by "base value" there is no shred armor base value, or are we talking about something different here ? Language barrier can be an issue for me.

From what I gather from the build planner, it seems to behave like critical chance bonuses. In other words, seems like your assumption is correct.
