If there are no season specific rewards not many players will play them
Seasons having no unique rewards ( like PoE or D4 ), will demotivate any1 to play them.

There won't be even seasonal content for a good time.
They rushed release. The next few seasons will finish the game up proper, such as missing story chapters.

Well, they said they plan to make season specific MTX packs, probably doesn't help.

To my knowledge, those are for sale, not cosmetic rewards you get from doing challenges like in PoE.

Yes. MTX means microtransactions. 'Tis why I said "probably doesn't help." They haven't announced anything else about their cycle structure yet though AFAIK, so who knows what kinds of "rewards" they might include, if they are online only though I will riot.
