GPU Usage/Burn, how to fix?

on 4080 and 3070ti the game will burn my cards to the moon.... Whats wrong with the game or which option can fix that?! Its crazy

It’s your responsibility to monitor your FPS. For this reason alone you should always have an FPS meter running. And you can us Nvidia Control Panel to limit FPS to any game.

Game's optimization is ♥♥♥♥. Cap your fps, lower the better.

If you run your card at uncapped 750 fps, yeah, it'll kinda burn.

Unless your card is overheating - in which case you need better ventilation for your case or water coaling- there is no problem. Maybe a noise one if you don't like the fans going full power. Cards have inbuilt thermal throttling mechanisms that make sure they will not only not catch on fire but won't reach temperatures high enough to actualy damage the chip dies for the GPU, VRAM and whatever else is on the card these days. A card running at 99% is only a problem if the temperature approaches 90 degrees Celsius or there about. Since that's when they start to thermal throttle. Use something like Rivatuner to see if your card is actually reaching those temps. If it is you have a cooling issue. If it's not then you have nothing to worry about.

But this wrong. A modern card should never go near 90°C in good ventilated case. No matter how high your usage and powerdraw is. I bet you are one of these who think 70-80°C would be hot.

Don't set Volumetric Lightning to Ultra, set it to Very High, it makes a huge huge gpu usage difference for no visual difference.

There is even an in game limiter, i also have a 4080 and capped my fps @90 (enough for this kind of game). I dont even notice if the game is running. (3440x1440 maxed out)

4090 here, game capped at 90 fps ultra 5120*1440. Average usage 50 %, GPU @ 55°C.
