Can't change moving to Right Mouse Button...

Everytime I'm trying to change it, it shows "Assignment conflict. Right mouse button is already in use cannot be replaced" even tho it isn't in use for anything and it stays the same after restarting the game. It didn't get fixed since alpha and now they released 1.0 version. Maybe someone have solution for this?

Yup. I used to bind it for Pet Attack and certain skills. I reported it as a bug, and apparently they disabled the ability to map LMB to attack so I presume the RMB is collateral damage.

With how the engine works, there’s a lot of functionality which directly references LMB rather than being able to go through bindings. This may come in the future, it’s just a surprisingly large task to do, and so hasn’t hit the top of the priority list.

+1 it's the reason I refunded in EA as I like to move with RMB. Only fix is to use mouse software which really isn't ideal.

Yes the regedit fix mentioned by CyberMan works *how ever* it will cause you to always attack while picking up stuff or reading through dialogue. This currently can not be fixed.

Thank you for this,but sadly this(at least 2 me) looks like decoding Ancient latin ;)
I realy hope they will sort this out in near future,cause i would like to play this game.

To enable switching left mouse, right mouse button

save the file press right-click on the file select rename
rename to Last Epoch RMB+LMB swap.reg

Double-click file with left mouse button and Press Ok, Apply

To undo the change

rename to LE default mouse bindings.reg

Double-click file with left mouse button and Press Ok, Apply


You do not have to mess with any coding just have to rename the file because .reg is something you normally do not want to download from the internet unless you know the source is clean. This source is clean you can read the developer response on the page itself.

If you are still not following than let me know and I will screen-capture it for you. But that will take some hours as I am not at home right now.

+1 I'm going to return the game if I cant find a good way to fix this issue. It's so insane for a game in 2024 with the largest similar movement type games being lol and dota to not have this option.

I want to like this game but god every time I play there is some new stupid issue that just shouldn't exist

Same. Searched the issue and found a sarcastic response from developers essentially treating their customers like it's an unreasonable expectation or somehow their fault for their poor design. Immediately refunded.
