Cuz it's PvP and ReShade has some tricks that let you see enemies in Night or Fog or Smokes. It can be used as Wallhack aswell, but all this tricks based on Depth Buffer and it doesn't work in Last Epoch and in isometric PvE there is no possible advantage.

Yes ... it's a ReShade ....

Tried renaming "dxgi" file to "d3d11" and I still crash or get the black screen when reshade is enabled.... The stupid part is it worked perfectly fine when I played before work this morning.

This unstable trick. Use old version.

someone had a post here at some point saying u need to disable msi afterburner, but then the post got deleted so i guess it may not work, dunno. i gave up on reshade and instead am using nvidia image scaling/sharpener now

I can't be sure for 100% for now, but I installed old version of ReShade (4.5.3 in my case) and it works fine, for couple of hours at least, whenever 6.0.1 crashed game instantlly.
So it's probably a problem of ReShade.
Try older version.
Be noticed that some shaders can be not compiled due to version of ReShade.

P.S. I guess it's a bug of one of new version ReShade when they did online activity detection. Afaik it was added in 4.8-5.2 verison or something.

Yes it works. You need old version of ReShade.

v6.0.1 works perfect but you have to make sure of a couple things

1 From reshade 4.4, the setup tool was updated to .NET Framework 4.8
You need to download and install the latest .NET Framework version in order to make the setup tool work. (latest version is 8.0.201 to date ) Website link [dotnet.microsoft.com]

2 The game uses DirectX 11, renaming "dxgi" file to "d3d11" in your game folder where the reshade is installed works for me

btw : i also use msi afterburner with no problems

After that it works very good here, before that crash every 5 min for online characters, offline was never a problem

The problem is the newest reshade v6.0.1 itself with LE, my solution (see quote) works BUT it always crashes the game the first time i start the game, the second i start the game direct after the first crash it works perfect.

So NOW I USE RESHADE V4.9.1 for Last Epoch alone, and NEVER crash anymore, works perfect.

btw : i also use msi afterburner with no problems

Thanks for help. Only way online works for me (not crashing every time) is using 4.9.1. Could use newer version offline without issue but only older version for online.
