Performance issues.
This game uses 100% of my GPU no matter what settings I change, causing soft freezes that I can undo by alt-tabbing out and back in, all drivers are up to date, my computer should be able to run this game 10x over, wtf is wrong with it? I could run beta maxed out at 300fps but 1.0 drops and the game barely runs. Please explain what they broke...

Just want to update that just in the main menu, not even in game its at 99%..... there is something seriously wrong with LE.

They need to seriously patch it or do something this engine looks great but plays like hot garbage

try steam overlay off?

also.. make sure your windows paging file is controlled by you, and on your fastest drive

Figured it out. AMD adrenaline was the issue. Sorry I was wrong LE did nothing wrong. Changed everything to "use ingame settings" and boom no issues.

i noticed this.... gpu hit 78c max just sat in menus.... It doesn't even get that hot on Port royal bench loops

That's not considered hot anyways, CPUs and GPU's are designed to run at max load.

That's not considered hot anyways, CPUs and GPU's are designed to run at max load.

other games are 50-60c......
