Last Epoch

Last Epoch

Cycle and Legacy explained.
Cycle characters is just their name for a Season character, you make a character and play through the game. It's identical to Legacy except for the new items/ game mechanics that are added each new Cycle. So the only things you miss out on are Cycle cosmetics (If that is going to be a thing) new uniques and new mechanics if you ONLY play Legacy.

At the end of a Cycle your character/s will automatically be transferred to Legacy along with everything on them and everything in their stash chest. This will include any Cycle specific cosmetics that you have unlocked if that is something they implement.

TLDR: Make a Cycle character, play for a few months trying new builds and stuff then do it all over again when the new Cycle starts. Welcome to ARPGs!!!

New to Last Epoch, I have a main cycle character. I want to create an alt. I think alts should be legacy to get access to the stash. Is this correct?

Make sure to clear the story before you make an alt, that way you can skip the story. Once you get to The End of Time to choose your Subclass you can go straight into Monoliths by just going to the right side where you would normally start Monoliths.
