Last Epoch

Last Epoch

Knowing the campaign is not finished, how is the actual ending?
I'm the kind of player who is only interested by the story, the gameplay, and unlocking the skills of my character to make it stronger, faster, better.

I don't really care about legendary loot and things like that. I like when the game has an ending, so I can uninstall it and play another one.

So, what is a hack'n'slash ending for me? Basically, playing the campaign with all classes, typical DIablo 2 - Titan Quest - Grim Dawn player. In all difficulties if possible.

So apparently, Last Epoch campaign is not finished, 9 chapter on 13. So, how is the actual ending, without spoiling? satisfying, the feeling of having accomplished something, or it end in the middle of a plot twist?

Thank you!

It's been in EA for years.
The answer is that there is no ending. You kill the chapter 9 boss, finish the quest, talk to an NPC and that's it, the story stops. It'll be finished in the next 3 Chapters released in the future.
I remember campaign ending at a pretty suspensful point. Towards the end of the current campaign (and realistically throughout a lot of it) there's a heavy "oh ♥♥♥♥ that's pretty bad" vibe. I enjoy it as a theming device/mood setter but it probably isn't going to be suuuper engaging story-wise.

Regarding TQ.GD those are more campaign-focused aRPG's and most of what's available doesn't have that kind of structure. More often than not the story/lore is window dressing and the meat of the game is focused more heavily towards endgame/build theorycrafting/navigating complex mechanics.
