What does the July 1.1 launch mean?

Hi LE's, want to ask, I've bought the game but only have 5 hrs clocked on it. I want to play it again, i would like to know what is actually going down in July and how does this impact the game? If I'm a solo player, can I play with other ppl online from ard the world?

Or i cant and only be able to play with friends in a co-op game from the very start before we begin? Btw how long does it take to finish the campaign in this game in terms of hours?

Would really appreciate some insights if anyone veteran is here. TQ in advance!

i've read some reviews online, but i really wanna know someones in game experience, ya know, like someone with 100+ game hours. I used to be really into these type of genres. I have LE, i just wanna know what is 1.1 ver and how does it impact the game overall. How does multiplayer work as well.

Nothing changes from a solo play perspective and you can continue your offline/online character like you used to. Nothing changes for group play play either. You still have to invite people from your friend list as thats the only way to create groups. No message boards yet for random group play.

1.1 LE update: New content for the base game. No cycle exclusive content yet for the next 1-2 years. Therefore no need to create new cylce characters as these are pure ladder resets.

You can comfortably continue your legacy (when 1.1 drops you current cycle characters will become legacy) offline/online characters and miss out nothing.

i couldn't convince any friends to play with me, how can i meet people online and then perhaps form a party ? this is quite important, playing solo might be less enticing for me.

You have to message random people in town or ask in global chat for that. There are no message boards yet for spontaneous group play.

Sadly there is no matchmaking in this game. It spoils the experience for me as well, as I find the single player quite boring with this one.
