Most bosses feel terrible, require constant movement and ranged attacks to beat
The attacks are too fast and constant on the player.
For example the first boss in the game called "Sturiax" the flying eagle thing.
You have to move, range attack, move range attack move, range attack, move range attack, etc. If you lose pacing of his attacks then you get hit. There is nothing fun about these boss fights, I wish they did not exist.
This is not fun game flow.

... That's how boss fights worth though. You might want to consider refunding the game if you don't like bosses in your games. You seem to be early enough in the game to not have 2 hours in it. You might want to refund now that you still can because if you don't like bosses you might not like the rest of the game. It might not be a boss killing game, but bosses are an important part of the gameplay loop.

that first boss is a doozy the fire dmg is painful

I like it the way it is. Makes you do something rather than sit in front of him and spam. My issue with it was the fire visual never went away. Seems like a bug.

You either have a build like mine where you can stand back and let the summons kill it, or you have a build like my other one that has like 30% life leech and can tank everything while standing still. Or you have a build like yours where you should be able to kill any boss in a matter of seconds, if you're playing a ranged build you should probably be more glass cannon, I suggest maybe remaking your build. The whole campaign is a cakewalk.

umm... this is how I prefer boss fights to be. dodge their moves. what do you want? them to not attack?

I was able to make it to level 84 with a totem build but it can't run in circles for the Gaspar Tri-Beam attack and so fails each run. I have 16 other characters in various stages of leveling . Either the build feels terrible to play in general or there is some game mechanic that it cannot overcome like the tri-beam attack.

It's pretty frustrating to hit a wall each time on various builds. I had high hopes for the totem build as it was able to defeat everything except the Elder Gaspar boss.

I won't be making it to empowered monoliths anytime soon
holy crap you made a thread to talk about how your bad at video games? get gud or go back to d4 or poe.

i made a totem spriggan and could kill each boss once I learned them.

maybe the issue is the lack of WASD controls for fine movement, I find the movement with only the mouse to be an issue

this is a difference of opinion I think. in games like this I prefer mouse moving.

Remember that every class has at least one movement/dodge skill and defensive abilities/shield, etc. I do think this game's bosses lean a bit too heavy on the one-shot kill moves but:

everything is telegraphed very well

"don't stand in the bad" is a really, really old and standard video game mechanic

I don't know what fun it would be if you just stood there facetanking the bosses with no required movement or use of any sorts of tactics, skills on cool down, whatever.
