So GG. Sank an hour into that fight alone.
My Sentinel > Forge Guard had absolutely no issues whatsoever.
Whats your characters stats and level?
Can you maybe make a screenshot of your character sheet so we can see where the problem is.
Probably a stat/gear, resist issue
Ward is great but dead w/o it. You gotta stack a lot of ward like dodge for rogue to really make it work
Sentinel especially pally and FG both get really good base defense. Access to lots of armor, resist and HP/HP% and so on. VK is good also but you give up some for more damage
Those resist caps and random super crits also suck big time. Once you start the endgame content or arena content you'll randomly encounter normal enemies that will 1 shot you regardless of your resist, hp and endurance. I even tried respec'ing all my passive points into hp, amour and damage reduction and it makes zero difference, this just should not be happening with over 2200 hp, almost 4000 armour and 75% in everything but necrotic (71%).
I'm well aware of the fight and its mechanics. It's not my first time through.
I'm not talking about the tail swipe, the petrifying gaze, the blood explosion.
But there's little mechanical finesse in a homing dash melee hit.
if people "fail" on the other attacks, then i would say skill/stat issue. But there is no way to avoid the dash melee, on my druid I legit just had to tank it with enough leech and hp regen to outheal it.
And same there, his laser is way too powerful for a fight that takes this long.
Stuff like that on a main story boss doesn't test your build but your patience.
First time playing RPG i guess ? or videogames ? or are you trolling us ? don't you see the problem in front of you ?
And while the three magic stones are pretty difficult to deal with, they can be predictably lead. Phase one is a really good boss besides that i still say stuff like her spear throw are way too strong.
Phase two gets rid of most of her mechanics and it's just a stat check.
