Self-Ignite Question.

There are a few items i have been interested in build testing that require the player to have active Ignite stacks on themselves.

Inflicting myself with an ignite will deal fire damage which does respect my current Fire Resistance.

If ANY of my gear states 'Fire Penetration', do the ignites i cast upon myself also penetrate my own Fire Res.

If i need to have 10-40 Ignite stacks on myself at one point. I am worried Fire pen is going to kill me far quicker then intended, can anyone answer?
