Campaign post monolith bricked? (answered)

Greetings.

Quick question: During the campaign Chapter 9 I confront Apophis and jump into the rift, end up at the end of time and the NPCs tell me I should recharge my Epoch by doing Monoliths. Okay.

Did the first one (finishing the Quest-echoes) and nothing happened.

However, I could access Monoliths earlier (just by crossing the walkable bridge to the first one) and started some time after chapter 5 (I think?), finishing the first and doing a few echoes on stolen lance and black sun.

Was this "early access" to monoliths intentional or a bug?
Did I manage to brick this characters campaign? When and how is it supposed to pick up the story again?

Or am I just waaaay too impatient?

Any feedback would be very welcome, I'd like to finish the campaign at least once to see where the story goes and would be bummed out starting a new character now. Dad-gamer, not that much free time.

As far as I'm aware the campaign is not finished yet and currently ends after chapter 9. So it's not something you did wrong, you just need to wait for the devs to add the other chapters.

They're adding 3 more chapters apparently. The game says version 1.0 but its definitely not really a 1.0 game yet imo.

Just realized I missed the "quest completed" pop up that gave +1 to all attributes (as mentioned online) because the screen faded out, but it's logged on the map. Found it.

You'll be doing monoliths mostly, once you complete a web of them you'll have another web of them to do, after completing a bunch of them you'll get even harder monoliths where everything is level 100 and the drops are better. I'm still not there yet and it'll be a ways away.

Once you get to the first end boss monolith be prepared to get steamrolled. High health and resistances are recommended. It'll be like lagon but 50x worse.

Thanks for the heads-up, but I intend to do the same stupid thing I've been doing since my Diablo II-days. Armymancing and hiding in a corner. Resistances are for plebs who get their hands dirty. But yeah. I have seen the stupendous amount of echoes and monoliths waiting for me before doing the "unlock empowered stuff" bosses, so, yeah. Guess I'll find out some time in summer if that works.
