Are Totems considered as minions / invocs ?

I play Primalist and do my totems beneficiate from my companions talents points ?

Totems scale with Minion, Totem, and Attunement, with Physical and Spell for Minion scaling on Thorn Totem, and Lightning, Spell, and Area for Minion Scaling on Storm Totem

So it will scale with Minion bonuses, but not Companion bonuses.

Hover over the skill. Look at the tags at the bottom of the skill window. Hold ALT while hovering over the skill for even more info.

I play Primalist Beastmaster but i really love Tempest Strike ...
Put one point in looming gale, now i have tempest totem, so i would like to know if it was totally useless for this spec.
