We need more set items
Well, I can say, that the Runemaster is my favourite class now. He has unique playstyle, especially for ARPG. But i was so dissapointed that there is no any set items for him. Entire game has only 17 set items and most of them for low level characters. It is better to use rares. Of course whe have some interesting uniques for Runemaster (it could be good with legendary forging potential), but it is not enough...

Totally agree! I'm level 50-something and so far throughout my entire character I have a grand total of TWO set items that are for a build I'm not even using. So ..... I have acquired exactly ZERO useful set items of any kind.

Bring us some good set items in the drops!

Totally disagree, craft your gear, Runemaster is one if not THE most powerful mastery in the game. Im sure they will add uniques to alter the way masteries plays but if you want set items that adds 10000% dmg to your skill, play D3, if you want one piece of gear that alter your playstyle and offer more options im sure they will add more uniques eventually.

Set items as an end game goal is bad because is makes the whole crafting system irrelevant and makes one set of gear the best in the game, making upgrades irrelevant once you got your set, like D3. Set bad.

D3 really killed the concept of good set items by attaching absurd benefits to sets that completely outclass all other items. I do miss the golden days of manageable numbers (which LE luckily embraced as well). Things start to become a meaningless when an extra 42000 damage is insignificant to your overall damage output of 1.3 million. I hated that so much about D3, it just made me stop after completing the campaign.

Yes, I agree with you, I dont want to see set items with 10000% dmg, like D3 items. I want pieces of gear that alter my playstyle. It could be done with set items too, without any balance breaking numbers.

Current implementation of set items is completely useless. I wouldn't use them even on a low level alt. There is no point to add more of them if they will be the same trash.

Sets were fairly dissapointing, id prefer sets to be far more powerful, they already dont have LP, so they cant be final tier gear, but they could be better than everything 1LP and below, I would be happy with it, I liked D3 sets, the problem was how easily available they were in D3, make sets WAY more rarer, much more powerful, def remove that faction trait that drops whole set if one set item drops.

Yeah sets are mostly pretty bad due to lack of LP, with a few sometimes being useful - mainly the ones with lower level requirements for the full set.

Invokers is pretty good (+3 to tri-elemental skills is nice for lvl 35 items)
Pebbles is crazy at lvl 30 giving +42 base damage to your skeletons
Vilatria's isn't terrible

But a lot of them seem to have excessively high level requirements that force them to compete with exalteds and legendaries, in addition to frequently having a very niche use to start with.

Like the Corsair's set. I'd love for it to be good, but the set bonus is basically harmful and the combo requires disabling most of your mastery skills to start with.

Zerrick's set also has a HARMFUL set bonus!

I like the idea of sets maybe enabling weird strategies, but having your potions give you -25% resist instead of healing is a pretty big problem.
