Game Crashes After The Latest Patch (1.0.1.2.) 01/03/2024

So I've been playing normally on my laptop up until patch 1.0.1.2.After the patch ,I can't even get past the login screen sometimes. It just crashes, freezes, hear the music and then crashes.
Specs:
Processor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700HX 2.10 GHz
Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.7 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU

Updated all the drivers, gpu and cpu, windows updated. All of that checked.

Have you verified the game files? I know when the game downloads hotfixes, it patches as well. Might be worth a try to see if anything might be borked via integrity check.

You can try running the game exe as administrator. This helped another player here on the forum before.

Also, when the game crashes, take a look at windows event viewer and see what the entry says about the logged error.

Me neither, but that does not help the few having problems. Windows event viewer will clear it up for sure. There was a guy I helped with this before, nothing did the trick but setting the exe to administrator. So I guess it is a weird windows install setting issue at times.

Yep set that too, nothings changed, still crashes.

Do you have access to memory testing tools?

d3d11.dll is the base direct x 11 file.
Try updating direct x

I've had the same driver before the patch and it worked normally, since it started crashing after the patch i updated it thru nvdia experience
