Have you verified the game files? I know when the game downloads hotfixes, it patches as well. Might be worth a try to see if anything might be borked via integrity check.
Me neither, but that does not help the few having problems. Windows event viewer will clear it up for sure. There was a guy I helped with this before, nothing did the trick but setting the exe to administrator. So I guess it is a weird windows install setting issue at times.
