Healing Hand gets melee tag and loses spell tag when Seraph Blade is selected. This can be checked in game.
This thread is about Fire tag. Healing Hand does not have Fire tag even if Searing Light node is selected.
Thats because its not converted to fire, it simply applies fire damage but does not scale with it./
Additionally Seraph Blade only adds the melee damage scaling to it, Melee damage and melee fire dmaage are two completely different things and are not the same.
Its the same as you would take Critical Strike chance and Spell crit chance, those are entire different things.
When a spell is "Converted" to a different damage type it gets the tag, when its damage is simply treated as another type is does not and does not scale from it. Its not jsut for Palladin, there are a few others.
Then is it correct that Increased Fire Damage is not working for melee Healing hands?
