Losing skill points after applying them

So, I've noticed this a lot lately. After applying skill points to certain areas of the skill tree, they appear to be reset the next time I login. For instance, I maxed out Avian Arsenal yesterday, and I login today and it's only 2/3. There were also other skills that I lost points. Is this normal? You're only supposed to lose points when you respec. Correct?

Do you have a Weaver item equipped or any piece of gear with a "+" to a skill? If so and you remove it to compare slotted items, it will reset the apploed skill point it allocates each time. I kept having that heppen with a weaver item on my Druid for his Relic. Really annoyed me to re-level those skills everytime, but that was all on me, not the game mechanics. I should have looked more closely at my hear affixes.

I know I have +4 between different pieces of gear for the skill in question, so that's a very good possibility. So, each time you take a piece off, it refunds those skills and you need to reapply them? If so, I'm glad it's not a bug.

Have you changed your items recently? If you have an item with a "+1 to some skill" affix, the skill tree will lose 1 point when you take off that item.

Yup. I think that may be it as Djozar mentioned. Thanks to the both of you. I'm glad I'm not actually losing points. :)
