Itemization is really bad..
Hello,

I love ARPG's, and I have played many hours of them. One thing that I see these type of games constantly fail on is itemization. Why on earth am I still getting low level items even dropping at late game? I am doing Echos and the reward is a Unique item and it turns out to be some level 29 item that isn't even usable for me..this is archaic itemization. This type of garbage loot has been solved in this genre and it just doesn't add fun to the game to constantly get crap unusable items that immediately get sold or shattered..

Please scale item levels with player level better.

Uniques are not meant for endgame, Purples are with your own craft added to them.

Unique items are part of the end game. It's called LP, you then use godly epic items and slam them into the LP unique items. OP must still be stuck at Lagon story mode waiting for a nerf.

There are multiple "low level" uniques that are BIS for many builds. If you get good legendary potential on them you can make god tier items out of them.

This is not some generic MMO with terrible itemization where you just increment an item level score and have the same numbers go up. Actually look at the gear and understand what they are doing, even some low level bases are important for some builds.

Nah. Not really. I really would like to love this game more but this genuinely is a problem with the game. I don't see any motivation to continue doing Echos if I keep getting bombarded with loot that is completely useless and not even close to the correct level for me...

Dude, I want this game to be better.

The quality of the items are not linked to their level requirement. It has been made this way to allow new characters to get extremely good gear early on and stomp on the campaign to avoid tedious farming.

I encourage you to go check on some dev posts that explain this better to understand the mechanic.

Itemization is not exactly bad, crafting is. Sure, not as bad as some ARPGs like PoE but it's still in a bad spot, at least trading now helps cover that issue.

Now you ask why is low level uniques droping at high tier as if it was a bad thing but the thing is, it isn't.

Some of these uniques are leveling uniques and you can even make them legendary making them even significantly better, for example, getting some boots with high movement speed with no level requirement and then with legendary potential adding even more movement speed makes an incredibly good pair of boots to use for the campaign and maybe even the early monos.

Also many low level uniques do unique things that are build enabling thus making them a BiS item regardless of their actual level. Add legendary potential to the equasion which the higher the corruption you are in the better chances to get legendary potential and you just cannot divorce low level uniques from droping.

Last but not least, your build may not have a need for a unquine in a specific slot because there aren't any that is better than an exotic item for that slot. But low level uniques have higher chance for legendary potential. Finding a low level unique with 3 or 4 LP which make have 1 or 2 usable stats for your build is now a great item because it is just more stats that you get compared to only having the exotic.

Try to understand itemization a little bit better before saying that it's bad next time.

What you describe is solved by using the loot filters. Put your filters in place, and you wont see any more of those unwanted items.

The itemization is better than Lost Ark, but worse then grim dawn at the end game by far.

wait you gotta explain how crafting is bad in this game. unless you mean it's too good, so it's bad, in that it allows you to progress too fast? the crafting in LE is the best in the entire genre in terms of its accessibility, depth and power increase ratios. what even

I actually had to turn my loot filters off because it was pretty much filtered ALL of the loot except for maybe a couple here and there.

The only rule was to hide all below level 50 items...

Thats the problem I'm talking about..
