My answer: Grim Dawn, Last Epoch, Titan Quest, Diablo 2 Resurrected, and Diablo 3.

Because I play all 5 of them depending on the system and my mood.

GD for mods, local multiplayer, and "offline" characters that can multiplayer.

Almost every game needs mods eventually these days and LE is gonna fall off hard once I've done the few vanilla builds I have any interest in.

Think it depends what you prefer, I think when you learn to play Path of Exile anything less gets stale quick, but not everyone has the amount of time to spent on learning everything Path of Exile has to offer and therefor less complex games are very welcome to.
I think most people can indeed agree that Blizzard has no clue wtf they are doing and that Diablo 4 is a steaming pile of

I've said this many times to friends of mine. If GD updated its graphics and added cycles/seasons with trade, it would be the king of hill.

I couldn't even get through 4 seconds of the first video. It's half naked JRPG ladies in ridiculous outfits? It doesn't even look like the same genre (hack & slash Diablo-like ARPG =/= JARPG).

I don't really care who 'wins' but if we're just listing personal favorites, then while the visuals are looking a little dated, GD is still on the top of my list. LE is 'fine' and has some interesting quirks where buildcraft is concerned but as things stand, I'll be surprised if I get anywhere near as much total played-time out of it.
