BUGs: Can’t progress monolith & elemental respec

Hi,

Running on steam deck with proton experimental and playing true offline.

Encountered two bugs.
1. Playing as a mage I skilled lightning blast into changing it to cause cold damage. Although I removed the skill point later, it still does cold damage (and the animation also stays at the cold version). Anyone else encountered this? Maybe with different skills that have the option too to change element?

2. Progressing the monolith of fate I am stucked at Blood, Frost and Death. I defeated the final boss and after the fight I am supposed to speak with a NPC standing right in front of some prison. For whatever reason no interaction icon appears.
Restarted steam client, game and fight several times. At town I can interact with all NPCs.

Same here. Also on steam deck. Cant speak to the npc after killing the boss. The blood, frost and death quest 3rd.

Might be related to steam deck or does someone else have a similar issue on PC?

Same here and for the quests at lvl 85 monolith can't speak to the npc at the end of the quests too.

Same here im stuck on a quest but Its not monolith and i play Steamdeck too.

Maybe a controller issue?

Can confirm that with mouse you are able to speak with NPC, some kind of issue using a controller

I mean apart from the bugs.....

OFficially the game is not supported for steamdeck as it has not been verified by steam.
While its great you can play it, things like that likely wont get fixed until its ready for being verified for the deck.

I was able to solve it.
Connected the steam deck to a docking station that had a computer mouse connected. Was finally able to talk to the NPC and progress further.

The element bug ist still there.

And yes, I am aware that the game is not verified for Steam Deck. For that it runs quite well on the steam deck. Looking forward how it is running when it’s optimized.

See my very first post. As described I skilled lightning blast into causing cold damage. Later I respecced and removed the skill point of the skill that changes lightning blast into causing cold damage. Even after removing the skillpoint it still does cold damage.

Just learned another way to solve it.

When you hover with the courser over the NPC (using the right analog stick) you need to press the STEAM Button and then the R2 Button and it serves like using a PC mouse.

There's a passive in the Mage tree called Rune of Winter that also changes Lightning Blast to Cold, check if you have it.
