Lagon? La Gone
So I've tried everything from a year ago where Lagon doesn't give you the blessing, I killed him multiple times, I teleported to the new zone that opens after, I logged, I can't get the blessing. I can talk to him and the animation goes off but the blessing never shows. youd think a year and some time is long enough to figure out how to make the first God you fight in the game not bug out

Exact same issue - can't get the blessing even after teleporting to Soreth’Ka

Kill him, talk to him, close out of the bugged dialog screen and from there teleport to soreth'ka right away (don't town portal, open your map and click the soreth'ka waypoint). You don't "get the blessing" you just skip it and move onto the next part of the story.

The "blessing" isn't a real thing, it's just a story element. If you mean the quest tracking that says "get the blessing" that should go away when you progress past it. The campaign has multiple large skips built into it that skip story elements like that. The red paths you see on the map are campaign skips you can take by using a dungeon key. They aren't really that functional though because AFAIK they don't provide an alternate for idol slots or quest reward skill points.
